Meet Ayla

Ayla Connor’s practice focuses on representing hospital systems and healthcare providers with medical malpractice and insurance defense claims. She is experienced with all aspects of mediation and trial preparation, including depositions, working with expert medical witnesses and analyzing healthcare system contracts, audit trails and agreements. Ayla also advises hospitals on compliance, peer review and risk management issues.

Before joining the firm, Ayla practiced at a Spartanburg-based law firm. She also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Dennis E. O’Dell, Alabama Circuit Court, 23rd Judicial Circuit.

While in law school, Ayla served as a Law School Ambassador, was elected to the Student Bar Association, and spent part of her second year as a Judiciary Committee Law Clerk for U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions in Washington D.C. At the University of Alabama, Ayla was inducted into the Anderson Society, which only selects twenty-four seniors a year for their significant contributions to the university and was a member of the Lady Tide soccer team.
