Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd Welcomes Ayla Luers Connor in Greenville

Ayla focuses her practice on representing hospital systems and healthcare providers with medical malpractice and insurance defense claims. She is experienced with all aspects of mediation and trial preparation, including depositions, working with expert medical witnesses and analyzing healthcare system contracts, audit trails and agreements. Ayla also advises hospitals on compliance, peer review and risk management issues.

Before joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Ayla practiced at a Spartanburg-based law firm. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dennis E. O’Dell, Alabama Circuit Court, 23rd Judicial Circuit.

Ayla is a member of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association, Junior League of Greenville and a mock trial attorney coach for Wade Hampton High School and South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law and her Bachelor’s Degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama.
