Meet Jane

Jane Bouch Stoney's practice focuses on all aspects of commercial and institutional real estate, including sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing and zoning and land use regulation. Additionally, she advises clients with respect to entity formation, the formation of 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations, trademark and business start-up matters and business litigation disputes. She also has experience in banking law, including refinancing work.

She has served as a Young Professionals Board Member with the Lowcountry Land Trust and was instrumental in organizing Soul of the Lowcountry, an auxiliary support group of young professionals in the Charleston area.

EXPERIENCE

  • •  Assisted in representing the owner and developer in acquisition, financing and development of a 41-room hotel in Charleston’s French Quarter
  • •  Assisted in representing a medical university in acquisition of a 116,000 SF office park in Charleston
  • •  Assists the general and real estate counsel for “WestEdge,” the civic and research-oriented, mixed use development on Charleston’s Peninsula
  • •  Assisted in representing a major university foundation in its acquisition and financing of a large office building in Charleston
