Sterling Busbee is a tax attorney and focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, economic development and corporate law.

Sterling's experience includes:

  • • Tax planning for domestic and international companies
  • • Mergers and acquisitions
  • • Negotiating and drafting fee in lieu of tax (FILOT) agreements and other incentives including job    development credits and job tax credits
  • • Business formation and entity structure planning, including drafting articles, bylaws and operating agreements
  • • Drafting and reviewing conservation easements
  • • Trust and estate planning
  • • Formation and governance of charitable and nonprofit entities
She received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
