Ashley Long is an associate in Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Greenville office and works with our Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Practices. Ashley advises businesses across a range of industries on corporate governance, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic business matters.
Ashley also counsels clients on intellectual property considerations arising in corporate transactions, including IP due diligence, licensing and the transfer and protection of intellectual property assets in connection with mergers, acquisitions and other business transactions.
In addition, Ashley advises athletes, collectives and educational institutions on name, image and likeness (NIL) matters, including reviewing sponsorship and licensing agreements and advising on transfer portal and NIL compliance considerations.
While in law school, Ashley served as the Research Editor of the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business and as the Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Prior to attending law school, Ashley earned her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and played Division II College Basketball while attending Converse University.
