Jeanmarie T. Ethridge Joins Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Greenville Office

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. is pleased to welcome Jeanmarie Tankersley Ethridge as special counsel in the firm’s Greenville office. She joins the Medical Malpractice Practice Group, where she represents health care providers, businesses, insurers and other clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts.
Jeanmarie brings more than ten years of experience in medical malpractice defense, professional liability, premises liability, personal injury, government liability, insurance coverage and construction litigation. She has managed all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediations, trials and appeals.
Jeanmarie earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law and her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the College of Charleston. She has been recognized by South Carolina Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star” in civil litigation since 2018, by Greenville Business Magazine as one of its “Best & Brightest 35 and Under” in 2020, and by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly as a “Legal Phenom” in 2023.
A graduate of Leadership Greenville and the Riley Institute Diversity Leaders Initiative, Jeanmarie is a past president of the Greenville County Bar Association and a member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates. She has been involved with numerous nonprofit organizations and currently serves on the boards of the Poe Mill Achievement Center and Pendleton Place.
