William F. Gibbs joins as a shareholder in Greenville, South Carolina, while commercial real estate attorney
Lauren E. Offord will serve as special counsel in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Gibbs advises corporate clients on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. His clients range from startups to publicly traded companies in the technology, financial, healthcare, manufacturing, online retail, marketing and automotive sectors. Gibbs’ work regularly focuses on commercial transactions related to the procurement and sale of IT goods and services, as well as manufacture, supply and outsourcing arrangements. He also advises clients on corporate governance, executive compensation and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Gibbs served as general counsel and executive team member of a national healthcare company, reporting to a board of directors representing private equity ownership and one of the nation’s leading research hospitals. Earlier in his career, Gibbs practiced at an Am Law 100 firm.

Offord is a commercial real estate attorney with extensive experience managing large-scale transactions across diverse property types, including vacant land, commercial, shopping centers and mixed-use developments. She is skilled in negotiating, reviewing and drafting commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements. Before joining HSB, Lauren served as in-house real estate counsel for several corporations and provided strategic legal analysis to senior management on complex real estate matters.
