Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. is pleased to announce that Luther F. “Luke” Carter, Jr., Miranda B. Nelson, Sabrina M. Pappas and Garrett M. Simpson have joined the firm.

LukeCarter-sm.jpgLuke Carter is based in the Florence office and works with our local government and corporate law practices. Luke received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Bachelor’s degree from Wofford College. While in law school, he was the Senior Article Editor of the Journal of Law & Education.





MirandaNelson-sm.jpgBased in the firm’s Columbia office, Miranda Nelson focuses her practice on commercial real estate. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. During law school, she served as Senior Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review, a peer mentor and an academic tutor in legal writing for first-year students.




SabrinaPappas-sm.jpgSabrina Pappas is based in the Greenville office and works with our bankruptcy and recovery team. Prior to joining the firm, Sabrina worked for a Spokane, Washington law firm and practiced in civil litigation, bankruptcy, and real property matters, with a focus on creditor representation and pleading drafting. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.

He received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Bachelor’s degree from Gardner-Webb University. While in law school, Garrett served as the Managing Editor of the South Carolina Journal of International Business and Vice President of the Student Bar Association.
