With nearly twenty years of private industry and federal government experience focusing on construction, information technology, and defense systems, Brendan is well-versed in federal programming and related federal acquisition regulations.

Before joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Brendan served as Director for an 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), where he oversaw and directed all legal matters while managing public sector engineering and construction projects. Brendan served as an officer in the United States Air Force from 2002-2006. Following his active duty service, Brendan continued to work for the Air Force in the area of Foreign Military Sales, working with industry and allies in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. His final position in government was serving as Senior Project Manager for Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), leading project management and business operations for health IT projects for military customers worldwide.
Licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., Brendan earned his juris doctor from the University of South Carolina and bachelor’s degree from Union College.
