Brendan Geraghty's unique blend of experience within private industry and federal government, having served in legal, project and program management positions, makes him a valuable asset for clients interested in or doing business with the federal government. Brendan’s in-depth knowledge of private and federal government entities allows him to provide his clients with tailored yet practical legal solutions to address their specific challenges.
With nearly twenty years of industry and federal experience focusing on construction, information technology and defense systems, Brendan is well versed in federal programming and surrounding federal acquisition regulations. Brendan’s federal experience includes working with or for the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of State, Department of Interior, Department of Justice and NASA.
Prior to joining our firm, Brendan served as Director for an 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), where he oversaw and directed all legal matters while managing public sector engineering and construction projects. He regularly advised on Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Small Business Act and their practical effect on project delivery. Brendan led the development of compliance programs, including readiness for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
Brendan served as an officer in the United States Air Force from 2002-2006. As an Acquisition Project Manager, he oversaw engineering and manufacturing of a missile system. Following his active duty service, Brendan continued to work for the Air Force in the area of Foreign Military Sales, working with industry and allies in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Brendan’s final position in government was serving as Senior Project Manager for Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), leading project management and business operations for health IT projects for military customers worldwide.
