Mary Caskey Earns Certification as a Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law Specialist
Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is pleased to announce that Mary Caskey has received her certification in Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
As the leader of the firm’s Recovery practice group, Mary is an experienced litigator who concentrates her practice in disputes involving financial service providers and creditors’ rights for consumer and commercial debts. She represents national and regional banks, loan servicers and other financial service providers in a variety of issues including foreclosures, collections, adversary proceedings and alleged violations of state and federal consumer law.
Mary is listed in The 2019 Best Lawyers in America© for Consumer Law and South Carolina Super Lawyers® “Rising Stars” for Creditor Debtor Rights in 2018. She was named by Columbia Business Monthly as a “Legal Elite of the Midlands” and received the Top Attorney Vote in Bankruptcy Law in 2018. Mary is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, American Bankruptcy Institute and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association.
