John Boyd Elected to the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

John is active in the Columbia community, serving as immediate past president of the Board of Directors for the Nickelodeon Theatre. He is a member of the Environmental Technical Committee for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and a founding Board Member for the South Carolina Clean Energy Business Alliance.

John chairs HSB’s Environmental Practice Group and practices in the areas of environmental, regulatory, administrative and general corporate law. His environmental practice includes permitting, enforcement, due diligence and risk assessment, real estate transactions, environmental audits, voluntary cleanup contracts, brownfield redevelopment and traditional issues surrounding toxic substances, hazardous and solid waste management, air emissions and water quality.
