Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is pleased to announce that Charles Epps “Charlie” Ipock has joined the firm in the Florence office.
Charlie focuses his practice on trust, estate and probate litigation. Additionally, he has advised and defended Fortune 500 companies and has counseled trustees and executors managing multi-million dollar estates. Prior to joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Charlie worked for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and was in private practice in Texas and Florence.
Charlie received his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas in 2013, where he graduated magna cum laude. He graduated magna cum laude from N.C. State University in 2009. While in law school, he was elected Editor in Chief of the school’s flagship law review. He was also awarded the American Law Institute’s Continuing Legal Education Scholarship and Leadership Award.
In 2015, Charlie published The South Carolina Litigation Handbook in collaboration with the South Carolina Bar.
He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division and serves on the Continuing Legal Education Committee and Publications Committee of the South Carolina Bar. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Conference of Law Reviews and has written extensively on probate, trust, and estate law. Charlie is a graduate of Leadership Florence.
