Jonathan Klett concentrates his practice on commercial litigation. He represents a wide range of clients, including multinational businesses, financial institutions, investors, developers, owners and general contractors. Jonathan has experience with contract disputes, products liability, financial services litigation, construction disputes, business tort litigation, insurance coverage issues, environmental issues, trade secret concerns and other complex litigation. He also has experience in appeals at the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the South Carolina Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to his litigation practice, Jonathan regularly assists businesses with general advice and counsel, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts. Jonathan also serves as outside and local counsel to out-of-state businesses and firms.
Prior to joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Jonathan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Henry M. Herlong, Jr., United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina. While in law school, Jonathan interned for the Honorable David C. Norton, United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina.
