Kaitlin Beck focuses on a broad array of healthcare matters and general corporate law. She drafts and reviews contracts for large and small health systems, provides guidance on matters including HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid and counsels on appropriate handling of patient information through the implementation of data use policies and business associate agreements.
In addition, Kaitlin has extensive knowledge of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act and the Nurse Licensure Compact and has represented nurses before the Board of Nursing.
While in law school, Kaitlin served as Associate Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review and was a representative to the South Carolina Bar Law Student Affiliate Division. Prior to law school, Kaitlin worked in Washington, DC as a Legislative Aid and Office Manager for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
