Will Johnson received the 2025

His work has helped facilitate more than $10 billion in domestic and foreign investment in South Carolina. His practice includes structuring fee-in-lieu-of-tax agreements, special source revenue credit arrangements and other incentives, such as job development credits, job tax credits and economic development grants. He also advises local governments on incentive administration.
Will serves on the boards of the Florence County Economic Development Partnership and Darlington County Progress.
Best Lawyers also recognized him as the
2025 Economic Development "Lawyer of the Year" in Columbia, South Carolina, his second time receiving this distinction after previously earning the honor in 2019.
