Mary Caskey Named to South Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s ‘Influential Women of Law 2024’ List

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. shareholder Mary M. Caskey has been named to the South Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s “Influential Women of Law 2024” list (subscription required). She is one of just 22 lawyers selected this year.
This award spotlights the important role women play in the Carolinas’ legal community. Honorees are selected for their leadership, business acumen, mentoring, community involvement and contribution to the legal field.
Mary is a Certified Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law Specialist who leads the firm’s Bankruptcy and Recovery practice group. She concentrates her practice on disputes involving financial services providers and creditor’s rights for consumer and commercial debt. Mary advises national and regional banks, loan servicers and other financial services providers on various issues, including foreclosures, collections, adversary proceedings, workouts and loss mitigation, judgment collection and alleged violations of state and federal consumer law.
A member of Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd's management committee, she also sits on the Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Law Specialization Advisory Board for the South Carolina Supreme Court. Earlier this year, Mary was named a 2024 Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law in Columbia.
