Committed to public and not-for-profit service, William also serves on the boards of the South Carolina Historical Society, SouthArts and the Edenton Street United Methodist Church Children’s Development Center (Raleigh, NC).
William focuses his practice in the areas of state and local government, economic development, and business litigation. He is based in the firm's Greenville office and spends a significant amount of time in Raleigh, North Carolina, where the firm has several clients. He has been awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina’s highest civilian honor, and was recently appointed as Chair of the North Carolina -- Catawba Compact Certification Commission.
