Stinson Ferguson Returns to Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd

Stinson focuses her practice on construction and utility litigation, commercial dispute litigation, collections management and environmental matters. Her clients include construction and utility companies, lending institutions and healthcare providers.

Stinson first joined the firm as an associate in 2012 and most recently served as the South Carolina Energy Staff Attorney for the Southern Environmental Law Center in Charleston. She received her LL.M. in Environmental Law, summa cum laude, from Vermont Law School, her J.D. from the University of Georgia and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Converse College. 

Passionate about public service, Stinson currently serves on the Judicial Election Taskforce for the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association and the SC Bar Leadership Academy Alumni Planning Committee. She is a past board member of several organizations, including Opportunity Greenville, Warehouse Theatre, the Greenville Housing Authority and the Rotary Club of Greenville, to name a few. She is also a graduate of the Riley Institute at Furman’s Diversity Leaders Initiative and the Furman University Women’s Leadership Institute.
