Meg Scoopmire Elected to the American College of Mortgage Attorneys Board of Regents

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is pleased to announce that Meg Scoopmire, co-leader of the firm’s real estate practice, was elected to the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA) Board of Regents.

Since being named an ACMA Fellow in 2014, Meg has been actively involved in the organization, including currently co-chairing the Business Development Committee and serving as a Member of the Mortgage Law Summary Committee. Meg is also a member and former president of the Commercial Real Estate Women Network (CREW) Upstate and has been recognized for Real Estate Law by Chambers USA since 2014 and by The Best Lawyers in America© since 2013.

Meg’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions and commercial real estate finance. She has extensive experience negotiating real estate transaction documents including purchase and sale agreement, deeds, mortgages, commercial leases, ground leases, easements, estoppels, and subordination agreements. Meg works with borrowers and commercial lenders on all aspects of commercial financing arrangements.
