Nick Nicholson Named One of Greenville’s “50 Most Influential” People
Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is pleased to announce the firm’s Managing Director, Nick Nicholson, has been recognized as one of Greenville’s “50 Most Influential” people of 2019 by the Greenville Business Magazine and will be honored at a reception in Greenville on January 23.
Nick has served as Managing Director of the firm since 2013 and practices in the areas of procurement and government contracts, local government law and construction law. His clients include municipal and county governments, state agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, business owners and contractors.
Active in the community, Nick recently concluded service on the board of the Meyer Center for Special Children and has previously served on the boards of the S.C. Chamber of Commerce and Public Charter School Alliance of South Carolina. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville and Leadership South Carolina.
In 2019, Nick was named by the University of South Carolina School of Law Alumni Council as a Compleat Lawyer, an award which recognizes individuals for outstanding civic and professional accomplishments. He was also named the Best Lawyers 2020 Litigation – Construction “Lawyer of the Year” in Greenville and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America© for Litigation – Construction since 2013.
