Lisa Claxton Graduates from SC Economic Development Institute
Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd is proud to announce that Lisa Claxton recently completed the South Carolina Economic Development Institute program.
A collaborative effort between the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association, the Institute serves to educate those who support and participate in economic development activities in their communities. Lisa is one of 49 graduates of the Institute in 2019, which is in its 29th year.
Lisa’s practice focuses on advising clients on complex employee relations issues. She represents businesses in employment litigation before federal, state and local regulatory agencies in matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate and wrongful termination. Lisa is also experienced in governmental law, having established Spartanburg County’s first in-house legal department.
