Kimberly Witherspoon Named to "Lawyers of Color's Hot List"
Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. attorney Kimberly Witherspoon was recently named to Lawyers of Color Inc’s “Hot List” of 100 minority attorneys under 40-years-old from the Southern Region.
The honorees were chosen by a selection committee reviewing nominations and researching bar publications in order to identify promising candidates. Nominations were accepted from mentors, peers and colleagues; editorial picks were based on research of attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments or were active in legal pipeline initiatives.
Kimberly is an Associate in the firm’s Greenville office practicing in the area of public finance law. She works closely with senior members of the firm’s public finance team as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, credit enhancer’s counsel, and corporate counsel in multiple financial structures. A native of New Zion, South Carolina, Kimberly is a 2006 graduate, magna cum laude, of Furman University and a 2009 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
