Ethically Addressing Employment Law Hot Topics from the Employer's Standpoint

November 15, 2017

This seminar focuses on ethical considerations in-house counsel face when providing  advice and counsel to the company and company employees on employment law matters and how to handle them as situations arise, to include steps to preserve the attorney-client privilege when the advice and counsel is given to address day to day employment law issues that arise in the workplace and not as a result of any anticipated claim before an administrative agency and/or litigation.  The seminar will include practical application of these principles by way of addressing some current day common employment law issues that arise requiring input of in-house counsel and how in-house counsel responds to those inquiries.  The seminar will also include advice on best practices to protect the company from unnecessary or avoidable future employment claims or litigation and avoid pitfalls in failing to input legal measures to protect the company to avoid risks.
