Will Johnson Appointed to the Florence County Economic Development Partnership Board

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd attorney William R. (Will) Johnson was appointed to the Florence County Economic Development Partnership board by Florence County Progress, Inc. effective January 1, 2014.

A native of Lake City, Will focuses his practice in the areas of tax and economic incentive matters. He is actively engaged in the economic development and legal communities at the local, state, and national levels.

Will is the current president of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, Chairman of the Leadership Columbia Alumni Association, and a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association, and the Central S.C. Alliance Committee of 100.

About the Florence County Economic Development Partnership
The Florence County Economic Development Partnership opened its doors in 1999. The Partnership was formed by Florence County Council and Florence County Progress, Inc. to enhance the county’s economic development efforts. The Partnership works to recruit new business and industry to Florence County while helping existing industry grow and expand.
