Former Probate Judge Munford Scott Joins Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd

Munford joins our Florence office as Special Counsel and represents clients in the areas of probate law, tax and estate planning and trust and estate administration. He is certified as an Estate Planning and Probate Specialist as well as a Tax Law Specialist by the South Carolina Supreme Court. Munford is also experienced in probate mediation and is certified as a Circuit Court Mediator.

Prior to joining Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Munford served as Probate Judge for Florence County. He served in the South Carolina General Assembly from 1978 – 1979. Munford holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed in South Carolina Super Lawyers® for Tax law since 2008.

Munford is an American College of Tax Counsel Fellow and previously taught at Francis Marion University as an adjunct professor.
