Meet Mary

Mary Caskey is an experienced litigator who concentrates her practice in disputes involving financial service providers and creditors’ rights. She represents national and regional banks, loan services and other financial service providers in a variety of issues, involving such laws as:

  • •  Fair Credit Reporting Act
  • •  Truth in Lending Act
  • •  Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act
  • •  Telephone Consumer Protection Act
  • •  Dodd-Frank Act
  • •  South Carolina Consumer Protection Code
  • •  South Carolina Supreme Court Rules on the Unauthorized Practice of Law
  • •  Mortgage foreclosure and documentation issues

Mary also represents motor vehicle dealers and other industries regulated by the Department of Consumer Affairs and defends businesses in class actions. In addition, Mary represents creditors’ rights in bankruptcies pending in the District of South Carolina.
