Two Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd Attorneys Recognized by SC Bar Young Lawyers Division

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd associates Cameo Joseph and John Langford have been recognized by the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division (YLD) as “Star of the Quarter.” The award recognizes their contributions and dedication to the YLD for the third quarter of the 2017 – 2018 year.

Cameo serves on the YLD Special Olympics Committee and Color of Justice Committee. She is an active member of Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Pulse Young Professionals and serves as a board member for Christ Church Episcopal School Alumni Association.

Cameo’s practice focuses on public finance and real estate. In her public finance practice, she works with other members of our public finance team as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, borrower’s counsel and corporate counsel in various financing structures. In her real estate practice, Cameo works with members of the team in drafting deeds, mortgages, purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases and other real estate documents.

John has served on the YLD Special Olympics Committee since 2015 and Professional Development Committee from 2014 – 2017. John is also active in the community, serving on the United Way of the Midlands Young Leaders Society and is an assistant adjunct professor for the University of South Carolina School of Law Small Business Organizations Capstone class.

John’s practice focuses on a broad array of corporate law matters, as well as commercial real estate and real estate financing, commercial transactions, and economic development. As a business lawyer, John especially enjoys working with start-up and early stage companies to provide practical and effective solutions to legal obstacles. In his real estate practice, John represents developers, lenders, landlords and tenants in a variety of purchase, sale, lease and finance transactions.
